We’re pairing up with Helioterra Wines for a Virtual Tasting

Before starting David Paige Wines in 2018, Dave spent 17 years as the Winemaker at Adelsheim Vineyard.  Many people on Dave’s staff went on to become winemakers in the valley.  He likes to think he was their mentor, but sometimes he was learning from them.  Anne Hubatch was a little of both. 

Anne joined the Adelsheim team on the bottling line in 2003.  Her curiosity, grit, and willingness to do thankless jobs made her a perfect fit for the harvest team that fall.  She stayed on for another year and a half, demonstrating the kind of survival instincts that would later serve her well in the wine industry. 

Anne started Helioterra in 2009.  She still makes Pinot noir, of course, but has also branched out to include several aromatic whites and Rhone red varieties.   

Now, instead of learning from each other’s mistakes in the winery, Anne and Dave trade tales about making wine and the joys of starting your own label.  Join them and hear their stories and ask a few questions of your own!
